- Yes. We use bank-level 256-bit AES encryption for all data. Your bills are processed securely and never shared with third parties. You can delete your data at any time from within the app. Read our Privacy Policy.
- What types of bills can I upload?
- Explain My Bill supports utility bills (electric, gas, water), internet and cable bills, phone bills (mobile and landline), and subscription service bills. We're continuously adding support for more bill types.

- No. Explain My Bill provides informational insights and educational content to help you understand your bills. This is not financial, legal, or professional advice. We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for specific financial decisions.
- How accurate is the analysis?
- Our AI is trained on thousands of bills and provides highly accurate analysis in most cases. However, AI-powered analysis may occasionally contain errors. We recommend using our insights as a helpful guide and verifying important details with your service provider.
- How much does it cost?
- Explain My Bill is free to download with a limited number of free bill analyses. For unlimited access and premium features, we offer affordable subscription plans available in the app.
- Can I delete my account and data?
- Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Once deleted, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where required by law.
- Will you help me negotiate with my provider?
- Explain My Bill provides insights about which charges may be negotiable and tips for approaching your provider. However, we do not contact providers on your behalf or guarantee any specific outcomes from negotiations.
